Episode Ten and Again and Again

Has it really been nearly a month? Geez. So sorry. Thomas has been in rehearsal and shows, and I've been lollygagging rather than editing. Oh, and running trials and prepping for a job interview.

You know, life!

Without further ado, here is episode ten!

Leave us a comment or send us an email.

Keep on kickin' it!

Episode Nine: Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo Extravaganza!

With all humility I present to you Episode Nine! of The Most Popular Podcast in the Known Universe!

This week: The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo.

There are some sound issues, due to the anti-acoustic properties of the environment in which most of the episode was recorded, but hopefully you can look beyond that to listen to the great interview with Rob Heinsoo (which is not pronounced like you think it is) and Robin D. Laws.

Their game credits include such things as, oh, I dunno, Dungeons and Dragons. Listen to the episode for more.

There's also a handful of great little floor chats with convention-goers, including Edmonton-based costumers Sew Long Ago.

This is perhaps not our funniest episode ever, but it's some damned fine content, and we'll be back to our usual format for the next ep. In fact, we'll probably do a lot of commentary on the Expo.

Best,

-Adam

Episode Six, ultra-fast edition

So if you find two hours to be too much of an investment, here's the Slimline Edition of Episode Six.

Coming in at a tidy 57:22, it's lean, mean, and... well... slightly less funny, because apparently when one is cutting for time, one is more critical of which jokes to keep.

Anyway, I'll probably be doing Slimline Editions of any episode that goes over 60 minutes, or over 90 if there's an interview. Enjoy!

Episode Six: Four Chickens and a Digital Tambourine

Okras and Gentlebeans, we present to you: Episode Six of Lazy Bastard Radio, the Most Popular Podcast in the Known Universe!

This week we have another long episode -- almost exactly two hours -- but it's some of our finest yet. We had a whopping four hosts, with both LBR North and our Occasional Guest Host sitting in and bringing you the best in science, media, comic books, and all the other amusing things that tickle your nerdy little funnybones.

I had a spot of trouble with Mixcraft, which is why this is going up so late, but I muddled through it, and it turned out to be a much simpler fix than I had thought. Shouldn't happen again.

To our gentle listeners: As your homework assignment for this week, how about everybody telling us who they are and where they are listening from? An email (lazybastardradio AT gmail DOT com), a comment here, or something on our Facebook page, so we know you're out there. We love doing this, but we'd love it even more if we knew we weren't just staring into the Abyss... because you know what that causes... That's right: facehuggers. Also, we can give you a shout-out on next week's show (or not, if you prefer)!

Until next time, keep your moist bits moist and your stinky bits clean!

-Adam

PS: It's worth noting that we know that Corey was wrong about McLuhan's famous quote, although he did write a book with that title.

PPS: Firefighters, for those who were unaware.

Streaming...?

You may have all noticed that we haven't had streams of the last few episodes. That's because it's tough to find places that will let us upload large files for free, so we can then stream them. We'll probably get around to doing streams once we have enough listeners to justify paying for hosting.

Any thoughts?

Episode Three Supplemental: Lazy Bastard Radio North

So, originally, we'd planned on having Lazy Bastard Radio North on as a co-host, but due to scheduling issues, it just didn't happen that way. Instead, once Thomas had run off to do his actor thing, Corey and I sat down via the webs and did this supplement.

It's pretty heavy on gamer content, but don't let that make you nervous. Enjoy!

-Adam

Episode Three: Olympics, Box Wine, and Serial Killers

Episode Three of The Most Popular Podcast in the Known Universe is here for your amusement.

We actually experimented with editing in this one, which led to a bit of a screw-up, and I somehow erased the last few minutes. I don't know if we lost anything important... but, as I keep saying, learn by doing.

Keep your eyes on this space for the supplement, wherein I interview Corey, from Lazy Bastard Radio North!

Welcome back to the most popular podcast in the known universe!

Here's Episode Two to download.

We have no idea why the volume is as "off" as it is. We'll have to figure it out as we go.

Streaming up when we get it up, and shownotes probably tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Slight problem with the hosting. All better now. Download away!

(note: there may not be a prize; prize may have no cash value)

Enjoy!
